Three weeks old and a total champ.

I keep thinking I'll find time to sit down and delve into the emotional life of the times.  But a minimally-narrated photo array is what we're doing instead.  Summary: we're eating more vegetables, I went for a 12-minute run yesterday, we went to Katy's birthday party last night, Elliott's getting some work projects done, and Fiona is sleeping well at night in 2-4-hour stretches so we feel sane and mostly capable of taking on our daily challenges and soaking up the joys.

Here she is conducting a grand orchestra on the way to West Seattle with Grandpa Bogel in the back seat on entertainment duty.

2nd bath at home went a BIT better but, as you can see, she didn't love it.  But now she smells more like lavender than eau de lait aigre

Cute babyness:

I got home late from a doctor's appointment (all is well) and Elliott gave her her first bottle of fridge milk.  She chowed 80cc and wasn't satisfied...

She's getting stronger and sometimes ends up horizontal on her bed, having breakdanced out of position.  We'll get her some cardboard for her 1-month birthday.

Bottle #2 wasn't so well-received as the genuine article was hanging out in the same room.  Pop's pretty cute, though.

Nice visit with Grandpa Ryan.

Our first outing with the stroller.  It makes a nice shopping cart, too.

Showing a little embarrassment at realizing her French Open outfit is on backwards.

Napping under her Grammy-made Ryan pattern blanket.

Sporting the dress-with-pants look.

That's all for now!

xoxo, liz
