Winter coziness

It's been a good week to snuggle with friends and read,

or just snuggle.

One of the MANY perks of living next door to a wonderful grandparent is the chance to say, "Hey, can you watch her for an hour and a half so we can go skiing?" and then pull out of the driveway 15 minutes later.  We've had some good Ithaca snow lately and we had never been on the Black Diamond trail from behind the Ithaca Children's Garden at Cass Park.  Nice gentle grade, saw one person, got sweaty, ate snow and fig bars, came home.

My second-time-round belly is starting to pop right out, apparently.

Despite the painful outcome at the very end of the we whooped and cheered on our boys through a great game against the Patriots.  Thanks for another great season, Hawks.  Thanks for fun and chili, Mom and Ross and Rebekah and John.

And then we woke up to a big snow day!  It was a little overwhelming at first...

but she got into it.

I swear.

After shoveling out and getting our play on we hunkered down and stayed put for most of the day.
It was pretty excellent.
