Big kids are fascinating and faces are versatile.

That's not Fiona!  That kid's using a spoon!

Haven came over to play on Saturday while KP and Tobias moved to a new house.
Haven is FASCINATING.

My dad asked me if Fiona ever did anything besides smile.  Here's some proof to the affirmative:

She sleeps.

She face-plants.

She listens to celery and is a bit aghast at what it has to say.

She clutches organic lions while gumming apple chunks through mesh.

She contemplates a differently prickly face than her Pop's.

She crinkles elephant ears and shows off her core strength and big belly.

But it's true; she smiles a WHOLE LOT.

And it's awesome.

Ooh, and here's some delight as I pop out from behind the stroller from different directions.  Sorry about the camera wander; my enthusiasm for the game trumped my commitment to videography.

Hey friends, stay tuned!  Elliott is in Ithaca tonight (we three drove to the airport at 4 this morning... blech) and tomorrow to walk through with an inspector a house we may well be buying.  Let's all hope it's not a lead-lined turd, since we are already pretty darn excited about something we've never seen.  And, by the way, single parents are super-human (says the woman who's now spent 48 hours (cumulative, not sequential) without her husband).  Thank goodness for mothers and roommates and friends who love babies!
