Ithaca doesn't have a locally-made baby food company so we decided to start one.
Here's the industrious, full-size chef at work on prototypes:
The most important tester with her official prototypes:
And one of our home-crafted labels:
More details soon as we invent them.
Company name suggestions welcome!
Here are some hangin' around the house pics. Chris Mckay sent us a gorgeous hat:
Fiona's imagination has been blossoming and she likes to feed other people... and bears.
Checking in with the cousins (who usually live on the fridge).
My phone turned itself black and white which seemed remarkably appropriate for this Ovid clinic parking lot pic. Yep, that's our hitching post!
Grammy came to watch swim class yesterday and took some action shots.
The weather is all-of-a-sudden gorgeous and Pop and Fiona caught some morning rays out back.
More bed frame walking. Any day, ANY DAY, she is gonna find some stability on those little tootsies. She's taken 6 steps in a row without support, has stood without moving for like 5 seconds, and has NO interest in crawling. She'll wiggle along on her belly and work for an out-of-reach iPhone playing Pete Seeger but ends up in tears with abraded cheeks. Elliott has more tolerance for this but I'm trying to help her less... which seems like a great parenting goal in general :) Our backs are gonna be PSYCHED when she starts really walking on her own. All she wants to do is walk with us holding one of her hands and we all end up stretching a lot.
This one's for Aran. We went to the Farmers' Market yesterday and it was 70 degrees and sunny! We saw 15 friends, played in a hollow tree, ate delicious food, and took these sweaters off quickly. We made it! (Unintentional black and white)
Then we headed out to Aurora for some Bogel/Burroughs/Bogel-Burroughs time, much of which took place on the porch!
Baby kickball with Uncle Nick!
Hi!
We took a breezy lake-side walk this morning after breakfast.
Belly button!!
Notice her beautiful Puerto Rican dress brought home by my dad and Catherine last month.
Look, all three of us in a picture!
It was STILL nice when we got home so we took our shoes off and ate pinecones in the back yard.
Then we played peek-a-boo under Pop's wooden boat.
Welcome, spring.
Thank you.

How come the format of your blog has changed? Don't like it, harder to switch from one picture to another. LOVE, however, all these pictures. I'll send you a video from Y swim, once I shorten it to make it less sizable.
Gorges Grub? I-Town Tots? ELF Feed? Castle Cobbler (deserts only)? Fionkychomps? More to come...
I changed the format back and made the text bigger in case any 91-year-olds are reading this. Thanks, Alex!
