Root vegetables.

A beautiful fall change during a walk to Triangle Park and the Dirt Pile.

Last week we went for a run down 19th, up Galer, and through Volunteer Park.  It was only after the hill that I realized the hand break was on...  doh!  Running is a guaranteed nap time.

Parenting is slowing me down in the best way.  How can I hurry off to work when Fiona's taking breaks from breakfast to play with sounds?  Nope.  No hurry.

Remember that tiny green hat Fiona came home in?  (And, oh my GOD, look how tiny she was!)

Well, Chris, a friend and nurse from clinic who is responsible for that tiny cap, sized us up to a 5-month pumpkin this week and it's super cozy.

Yup, that's a pumpkin eating a yam on the way home from the grocery store.

It's time to start feeding this girl some solids.  Maybe this weekend...

Two nights ago we had a break-through tubby.  We all stuck it out through her initial low-grade panic. She nursed a little in the tub, watched Pop playing with tubby toys, and eventually emerged lavender-clean and having splashed the water with her feet.  Total success.

OK, off to work...
xo, Liz
