Tillepikes! Sam's 1! Aurora! Shindagin! Huron City! Primitive Cousins!

I need to stop letting it go so long.
Minimal narration to follow.
These dearies swung through town for a sweet visit before heading off to India to teach for a couple years.

He had been stringing together 4-8 steps over the preceding month but ON his birthday he walked from room to room to room.
A baby no more: good morning ONE!

Beneath a great deal of home-made vegan frosting and candy eyeballs applied while the birthday boy napped was a small amount of cupcake.

I think it needs a little more purple.

What the bleep are those things and why am I in a button-down?!

Can you find the wardrobe malfunction?

I'm #1!

Oops.  Ate too fast.

Saia getting the frosting off everyone.

That's better.

First hike-in camping trip to the Shindagin lean-to.

Intrepid 3-year-olds.

Helping Sam with his off-road skills.

Why isn't Sam sleeping yet?!

Evening reveille.

We did NOT sleep particularly well overnight.

Thanks for the sun hats, Auntie Theresa!

Farmer's Market Bliss

Grammy ran over a downed wire.  Turns out it wasn't live.  Thanks, Chief George!

HURON CITY!!!!!

Sharing a little granola bar with Papa in the middle of a run.

Grabbing a few currants before the home stretch.

And back at home...
Enthusiastic pig, skeptical flapper chicken.

Thirsty chicken, generous nomadic clown.

Bedecked racing mouse and promotional dancer.

Such a beauty, this joyous boy.

After banging enthusiastically on Grammy's door he eventually realized she wasn't home and sat down to wait out her Wegmans trip.  Ain't he gorgeous?

Our powerful little Cayuga Family Medicine team helped Ithaca Hospicare raise over $400,000 and swam 1.2 miles across Cayuga Lake.

We used a lot of medical equipment to discover that none of us were sick.
See! Being a doctor's fun!

Sam took call while we played.

Sam wants YOU to write the next blog post!
